Many of the flowers are compactly arranged together as a mass of flower into an inflorescence.... to enhance chances of pollination by air so as those pollens lands on the stigma of those flowers easily... like in corn cob.. the seeds which are arranged have once been flowers then only it has become seeds which we eat... so thore flowers were arranged compactly aligned...
