as i know....it is the story about the realization of people's love towards their mother tongue when their language was going to be finished....actually...germany(prussia) defeated france and countries Alsace and lorraine.....now germany made a decision to snatch their language because language is a thing which shows our identity...as in india we are getting undercontrol of western countries slowly slowly our culture is changing into western culture as u can also notice...similarly they wanted to do the same thing with Alsace and lorraine so they gave a order that no more french will be taught in the schools from the next day..only german will be taught.....so that people would not be able to hold their language which means their identity.....which made people realised that they are french and they deserve french language now..they were feeling guilty...as they always took their language subject as a burden on them...this is what...all story is about
