The difference between xml and html are:- 1. XML is designed to carry data. HTML only displays and focus on how data looks. 2. XML data is stored in plain text form. HTML data is displayed with the tag / elements. 3. XML elements must be property nested. HTML elements can be empty, like :-

etc. 4. XML is a case sensitive language. HTML is not a case sensitive language.
