Antony was successful in sensing the pulse of the mob. He understood that the Roman mob could not be swayed by cold logics and ideas like in Nrutus speech. They could be swayed by basic examples. So he uses his excellent rheotorical skills to instigate the mob against the conspirators.

Antony was the one who knew about the ceaser's will which he enclosed infront of romans. Ceaser's will was used as a strong weapon asainst brutus. So this will made his speech more effective than brutus
