1)Inflationary gap refers to a situation where the aggregate demand was more than aggregate supply corresponding to full employment level of income. 2)Deflationary gap refers to a situation where the aggregate demand was less than the aggregate supply corresponding to full employment level of income. Both of the situation are readjusted through the fiscal policy of the government and the monetary policy of central bank .
