Let their ages be 4x and 5x. According to question , Thier ages after 5 years = 4x+5 , 5x+5 (4x+5)+(5x+5) =46 4x + 5x +5+5 =46 9x +10= 46 9x= 46 -10 9x =36 x = 36/9 x = 4 So age of kapil = 4×4 =16 Age of renu =4×5=20 HOPE IT HELPS YOU
