modern is a device attached to computers that can convert digital signals to analogue signal and vice versa digital signal is a group of discrete electronics units that are transmitted in rapid succession and analong signal cost of constitution electrical waves modem is short name for om dulater-DEM odulator where modem modulator can convert digital signals to analong signal and DEM does the opposite
