it contain positive charge and can accept a electrons. eg H+ is an electrophile which can accept a pair of electron from OH- to form H2O

Electrophile: A electrophile is a species (cation) which is electron deficient hence attacked by negatively charged or electron rich species.
It participated in a chemical reaction by accepting an electron pair from nucleophile.
common electrophiles are Cl+, NO2+, HSO3+ etc.

Electrophiles means electron loving species. Or in other words The positively charged or neutral species which are deficient of electrons and can accept a pair of electrons are called electrophiles. Eg., H3O+, Cl+, NO2+, BF3, AlCl3, etc.
