Mrs. Hall was a soft hearted lady only when she is geeting the payment as she was money minded .. but later on when the payment delays she showed her originality she become cruel and listen to the gossips regarding griffin and wanted him to leave his inn .. she delayed in food and also sometimes refused to give him food as because of payments .. she never wanted her husband to interfere in her matter and she is kind of a buisness minded lady
