Indigo shows about the fight against britishers in champaran. Being a resolute man Rajkumar Shukla follows Gandhiji and came along him to Champaran where the britishers were harming the poor peasants. They had forced them to grow indigo and once it is geown the land became barren. But later there came an modern technology to grow indigo and farmers were discarded and asked to pay the money if they want back. Gandhiji fought against britishers and thus won the battle of champaran. This gave rise to the Civil Disobedience Movement all over the country. You must also learn the ques./ans. as it was just a summary.
