due to fully filled orbitals noble gas are already stable and according to definition amount of energy released when elcectron is added to valence shell is called electron gain enthalpy .noble gases are neither losses nor gain electrons due to stability.

Noble gas has large positive electron gain enthalpy. This is because the one electron is placed in the principal quantum energy levels .thus highly unstable electronic configuration is formed..
