This sentence is aptly said in the poem Not marble nor the Gilded monuments the time is so powerful that nothing except literature can resist it . In this poem the poet has glorified his literature art which will not be vanished with time . The poem will remain relevant throghout the generation

The saying 'pen is mighter than the sword' can be aptly explained in rhe poem Not Marble nor the Gilded Monuments ' as time can destroy everything except literature. Art and culture transcend time and remain relevant throughout the ages.
