Let the present ages of Hari and Harry be 5x and 7x respectively. 4 years later age of Hari = (5 x + 4) years and age of Harry = (7 x + 4 )years according to the question (5 x + 4):(7x+4)=3:4=X + 4 ÷7 x + 4=3 by 4. 3(7 X + 4) = 4(5 X + 4). 21 X + 12 = 20 X + 16. 12 x - 20 X = 16 -12=4 Therefore present age of Harry Is equals to 5 x is equals to 5 x into 4 is equals to 20 years and present age of Harry Is equals to 7 x is equals to 7 into 4 is equals to 28 years
