I know this treatment but mostly teachers and i saw on youtubes they suggest that previous year div...used in financing activity and current year will be added for making net profit before tax

Previous year's proposed dividend will b added in working notes nd same will be deducted from financing activity ... there is no use of current year's proposed dividend
