  • The major difference between organ specific and tissue specific manifestation lies within the different microbes which target various tissues or organs.
  • For example, in case of tuberculosis, the bacteria targets a specific organ i.e., lungs, through which the disease spreads in the body.
  • On the other hand, in case of malaria, the infection spreads through the blood. The causal organism targets the tissue i.e. blood, for spreading the disease in the body.
