"The Frog and The Nightangle" written by Vikram Seth is a highly satirical poem. In this poem,a crafty,clever,schemy and manipulative frog entrapped a simple hearted,law abiding and innocious nightangle and subjected her to death. The poem gives a glimpse of how those in the upper hierarchy and power kill those who dared to oppose them and they also absolve themselves from any trace of responsibility.
