1 Html is pre -defined but xml is not pre defined we can create new tags in xml 2 Html is not case sensitive but xml is case sensitive. 3

1)HTML is a presentation language while XML is a transportation language and is not used to display data.2) HTML is not case sensitive while XML is case sensitive. 3) in HTML tags are predefined while in XML we define our own tags.
