The author refers them as gentlemen...because when they found their sister suffering from tuberculosis of spine due to malnutrition.....beyond flee from them...they used to take her to the hospital....n made the payment for her treatment...athough work was nt enough in verona...instead they usd to make payment by doing different kind of work.....as a precocious child
