Miss annne sullivan waa helen instructor sent from perkins institution for the blind . She was sent to teach helen , who was blind and deaf . As a teacher , miss sullivan was extermely patient and toleetant with helen . She knew the problems a child with out sight and hearing must be facing and was aware of the psychology of such a person . She handled helen sensitive but firmly . A teacher like her was not only the guiding force for helen but atrue friend , companion and a motjer like figure. Miss Sullivan self less nature , dedication and determation , matched with helen eagerness to learn , were the reasons for helen wonderful achievements.
