Treatment of wastewater involves physical, chemical, and biological processes, which remove physical, chemical and biological matter that contaminates the wastewater.
Step 1 - Wastewater is pushed into Barscreens. Large impurities like raqs, plastic bags, wood pieces, iron rods are removed in this process.
Step 2 - Wastewater is pushed into the Grit-and-Sand Removal trank. The speed of the Water is reduced to allow the Sand, Grit and other pebbles to settle down.
Step 3 - Wastewater is now taken into the sloped-in-the-middle tank. There the waste impurities are seperated and is taken into a seperate tank. It is called as a sludge and it is turned in biogas after being decomposed by anaerobic bacterias.
Step 4 - The water is now allowed for aerobic bacterias to grow for a crystal clear, pure reusable water. These are the main steps which involve in the purification of wastewater.
