There are two types of minerals 1. Metallic minerals (having metal in them.) 2.Non metallic minerals (not having metal in them) Metallic minerals are further divided into three parts 1.ferrous (contains iron in them) 2.non- ferrous (not contains iron in them) 3.precious metals (have higher economic value) Characteristics of metals are given in the ncert they're like lustre,durability etc. I hope this will help you....
