Because they have different characteristics and functions from each other like : 1. Movement 2. Energy level, animal uses more energy as compared to plant 3. Pattern of growth 4. Preparation of food 5. Living cell as animal having more living cell as compared to plant 6. Structural organisation animal having most complex structure organisation as compared to plants
