Dalton atomic theory is as follows : 1 all the matter is made up of very small particle called atom. 2 atom can neither be created nor be destroyed. 3 atoms of same elements are identifical in all respect i.e. shape, size etc. 4 atom of same or different elements combine together to form molecule or compound. 5 when the atom of same or different elements combine together they do so in a simple whole no. Ratio 6. Atoms of same elements can combine together in more than one ratio to form more than one compound 7 atom of different elements can combine together in the different ratio to form more than one compound 8 the no. And kind of atom in a given compound is always fixed. 9 Atoms of different element exhibit different properties. 10 atom is the smallest particle that take place in the chemical reactions.
