Each side of a rhombus is 13cm and one diagonal is 10 cm.find the length of its other diagonal.

One side rhombus = 13 cm
Length of one diagonal = 10 cm
Property to use: diagonals of rhombus bisect each other at 90 degree
taking 1/4 portion of rhombus (triangle)
base = 5 cm (half of diagonal)
hypotnuse = 13 cm
for perpendicular use pythagoras theorem
h² = b² + p²
on putting the values in the equation and then solving it we get perpendicular(p)= 12cm
therefore diagonal = 2p= 24cm
