•)sonar system consist of a transmitter ,detector and receptor.transmitter produce and transmits ultra sonic waves and these waves travels through water and after stricking the object at the bottom of the sea are reflected back and recieved by detector then these waves are converted into electrical signals by detector. Total distance travel by wave =2d = v*t. So' sonar is a device which is used to find distance direction and speed.

SONAR is an acronym for Sound Navigation And Ranging. It is an acoustic device used to measure the depth, direction, and speed of under-water objects such as submarines and ship wrecks with the help of ultrasounds
