Find the value of x+y if 3x-2y=5 and 3y-2x=3

3x-2y=5-----------------------(1)

-2x +3y=3--------------------(2)

Adding (1) and (2) we get

3x-2x-2y+3y=5+3

or x+y=8

3x - 2y = 5 ...... (i)
3y - 2x = 3
-2x + 3y = 3 ........ (ii)
Add (i) and (ii)
 3x - 2y = 5
-2x + 3y = 3

x + y = 8
