a = 114, d= -5
nth term = a+(n-1)d
according to the question we need to find a term so that :
a+(n-1)d < 0
114 + (n-1)(-5) < 0
114 -5n + 5 < 0
119 - 5n < 0
119 < 5n
23.8 < n
or we can say from 24th term all terms will be negative.
a24 = a + 23d
= 114 + 23( - 5 )
= 114 - 115
= -1 ( negative number )
