It is strategy used to prevent someones domination . It is used to safeguard yourself from being used and exploited by others . In this we become friend to our rivalry we dont try to compete and even used their resources as we become friends . For eg. Us dominance is prevented by india in the manner that instead of competing with US power we adopted its trend of jeans ... culture of tops.. food sections like Mc d etc. And we alsotake monetary help in case we need from US and never make them rivalry as we know its power is more than that of ours
