The response of US for the attack is swift ferocious. US launched Operation Enduring Freedom against all those suspected behind attack in 9/11 mainly Al-Qaeda and Taliban regime.

The response of US to the 9/11 attack was operation iraqi freedom . It was just a name that iraqi freedom the main motive behind this was to make the conditiond worst for iraqians the US military make survival difficult for iraqi people and most of the people were putted into prison even they were not given prisoners rights and UN was also not allowed to interupt in this matter . Thats how the US responded to 9/11 attack
