Why is the frog's joy both sweet and bitter?
  • 2 answers

Yash Raj 7 years ago

The Frog Joy is sweet because he is earning a lot of money from the nightingale singing. secondly, he is getting success entering The Nightingale out in killing her. His Joy is better because the revenue is getting less and less.Obviously the nightangle is not attracting a large crowd of animals and birds.
With reference to poem THE FROG AND THE NIGHTINGALE,Frog's joy was both sweet and bitter as he was making good money by nightingale's singing and was charging her fee. But by nightingales singing he lost his supremacy among the creatures of the bingle bog. Thus, his joy was both sweet and bitter
