KE=1/2×m×(v)2. And if speed i.e. velocity will double then KE= 1/2×m×( 2v)2 Then KE = 1/2×m× 4 v2

Kinetic energy =  {tex}\begin{array}{l}\frac12\\\end{array}{/tex} mv2

this means that K.E.is directly proportional to m(mass) as well as v(velocity or speed). So, if the velocity is doubled then the kinetic energy of the body will also be doubled.
