this theory was explained by dalton . he thinks that atoms are the smallest particle of an atom . it cannot be fuher sub divided.but in later experiments it was foun that it can be sub divided. so it became a drawback of DALTON'S ATOMIC THEORY . your question is a explaination of dalton's atomic theory
