The coding is same for combobox as well as listbox.What you had said me that day regarding the clear method of combobox, it would be same for the list box also. i.e. jList1.removeAllItems(); And the code of taking entry in combobox as well as listbox is same. i.e. .getSelectedIndex()==0/1/2 etc... where 0/1/2/3 denotes.. Item1,Item2,Item3 etc.
