DDL Stands for Data Definition Language - The DDL part of sql permits database tables to be created or deleted.It also specifies links between tables and imposes constraints in tables . Example create databse , create table , drop table , delete table etc DML Stands for data manipulation language - The query abd update commands form the DML part of SQL . Examples of DDL commands are : SELECT , UPDATE , INSERT INTO etc
