let the first no. Be 5x second no. Be 3x If they differ by 18 means their subtraction answer will come 18 Equation-5x-3x=18 2x=18 x=18÷2 x=9 first no. =5x=5 ×9=45 second no.=3x=3×9=27 hence to no. are 45 and 27

Let the common multiple is x
So, two numbers are 5x and 3x
By given condition
5x - 3x = 18
2x = 18
x = 18/2 = 9
So numbers are 45 and 27
