The value of G (universal gravitation constant) is calculated by substituting the values of mass of the earth and its radius and acceleration due to gravity which are know by the other means as G = 6.67 × 10-11 Nm2 kg-2.
g is referred as the acceleration of gravity. Its value is 9.8 m/s2 on Earth.
