Artificial respiration any method of forcing air into the lungs in a person who still has a pulse but whose breathing has stopped. Artificial respiration can be given with no equipment, so that it is an ideal emergency first aid procedure.
Breathing: taking air in (inspiration) and out of your lungs (expiration); can be consciously controlled (voluntary action)
