A saturated solution is basically a solution that has dissolved as much solute as it is capable of dissolving. In a saturated solution, no more solute can be dissolved at a given temperature. An unsaturated solution can hence dissolve more solute. A saturated solution can be converted into an unsaturated solution :
1) By adding more solvent to the solution. The solution will be able to dissolve more solute then.
2) By heating the solution. At higher temperature, the solution will be able to dissolve more solute.
