This is due to latent heat present in petrol or acetone

If we put some acetone or petrol on our hand , it evaporates. During evapouration, particles of liquid absorb energy from the surroundings or the surface of the hand to compensate for the loss of energy, making the surrounding cool. Hence our hand feel cool.

if we put acetone or petrol on our hand we feel the surface of hand cool because it gains energy and evaporates .thus,this makes surface cool
