A baby has both his/her parents characteristics it is because of the chromosomes....23 chromosomes of mother and 23 chromosomes of father combines to form the progeny i.e the baby. If the father's characteristics are dominant then the baby will have that character

Himanshu Singh 7 years, 3 months ago

Baby develops inside only female but it forms from zygote which is result of fertilisation,in this half no. chromosome of mother snd half of father'scome,w hich is responsible for characters.so ,a baby get acharacter of mother and father equally, it is other matter that it recessive or dominant in baby
