When seventh part of a number is increased by 2, we get fifth part of the same number decreased by 4.

Let the no. be x

Now 7th part of x = x/7

And 5th part of x = x/5

Now according to question 

X/7+2= x/5-4

X/7-x/5= -2-4

5x-7x/35= -6

-2x/35= -6

X= 6×35/2

X=105

So the no. = 105
