Appearances are deceptive .This is proved by the two litttle boys Nicola and Jacopo .They were very hard working . They did all kinds of little jobs to earn money .They were earning money to pay the charge of the hospital .They did n't spend the money on themselves . They ate only bread bread and figs .They were very helpful for the narrator They helped hin a lot .They always wore untidy clothes. External appearance does not prove the nature and thinking of people this is proved by Nicola and Jacopo .

Yes appearance is deceptive . as the 2 boys were very shaby and dirt acc.to their appearance but .Acc . to their intellgence they were gentle man
