Dmensions of a metalic cuboid are18m× 12m ×8m
∴ It's volume = 18 x 12 x 8 m3
= 2 x 3 x 3 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 2 x 2 x 2 m3
=2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 3 = (2 x 2 x 3)3
It is a perfect cube ,hence we can make a cube using it's molten metal.
So, it is not necessary to add a molten metal in it .
