Napthalene balls are sublimable. It means, they can convert into gas directly. When the mixture of Napthalene ball powder and common salt is heated in a beaker, then the Napthalene ball powder will sublime or convert to vapour,. It can be obtained by collecting and cooling down the vapours while the common salt will remain in the beaker without any change.
