    Maharaja wanted to kill 100 tigers as astrologer said that 100th tiger would kill him.Since there were less no. of tigers in his state and that's why he bant tiger hunting in his state .

    He wanted so that their have very small amount of tigers . .and if he did not ban tiger hunting then he was not able to found tiger and hunted them
