1. Abel's daughter.
2. She is a vigorous(strong and active), plump(fat), red-faced, vulgar (rude)woman, prepared to do any amount of straight talking
to get her own way."
3. Looks after her father only for his possessions.
4. Is more interested in what mourning dress she should wear to out-stage her sister than having genuine feelings for her father.
5. Dislike her sister and doesn't want her to gain anything for
their father's will.
6. Steals her father's belongings so that her sister can't have them after his supposed death.
7. It is understood that she is very dominating by the way she treats her daughter.
8. She is insensitive too. She does not believe in making any sort of kind gestures or suggestions.
9. She is shown to be very greedy and quite a huge opportunist.

Mrs.Slater is sister of Mrs.jordan.she is shown to be very greedy. She is a red faced lady. She makes sure that all things happen accordingly to her own will . She doesn't believe in making any kind of suggestions.
