At the beggining of the story the narrator potrays Ali as a very sharp hunter with better skills then a twist comes in his life that his most loved one who was his daughter had married an army man and went to live in the punjab resident.This time Ali understood the meaning of loved ones seperation and he realized that he was seperating the patridges by their loved ones by killing them.Now since he understood the love on the earth,he refused and left hunting
