During proliferation of HIV, Th cells (helper T )cells decreases upto 200 units / cm^3. Till this phase following sign and symptoms are seen and are called ARC(AIDS related complex) which help us to detect hiv infection: -headache -bodyache -weight loss -loss of appetite -fever -fatigueness Opportunistic diseases are also a symptom eg. Toxoplasmosis , cytomegalovirus infection , TB, kaposis sarcoma etc.
