The authout vikram seth makes upon the dialouges of the frog saying that "the nightangle was brainless". This is because that she would always listen to the frog.she didnt have the judgement of recognizing her own talent and she would listen and follow the frog blindly.

Yes, i think that Nightangale was brainless because she was singing or practice her song against her favorable climate i.e. in rain and she not stop singing till her death.
