Aristotle is known as the father of biology.“In the 4th century BC the Greek philosopher Aristotle traveled to Lesvos, an island in the Aegean teeming, then as now, with wildlife.
His contributions to zoology include vast quantities of information about the variety, structure, and behavior of animals; the analysis of the parts of living organisms; and the beginnings of the science of taxonomy. thus he has contributed much towards tozoology.
